FAQ
These answers explain how CricSwap works today, including public browsing, protected seller details, listing rules, and account management.
CricSwap is a marketplace for buying and selling cricket gear locally. You can browse available bats, pads, gloves, helmets, and more, then contact the seller directly when you find the right item.
No. You can browse listings, search by keyword, and open listing pages without signing in. You only need an account when you want to post a listing or view seller contact details.
You need to sign in because seller contact details are protected. This helps reduce spam and keeps personal information visible only to logged-in users who are serious about reaching out.
You post a listing from the Post Listing button or from your account page after signing in. Add your item details, upload photos, choose a cover photo, and submit the form to publish it.
You need your listing name, city, price, condition, description, phone number, tags, and photos. Having that ready makes the posting flow quick and helps buyers understand exactly what you are selling.
You can upload between 2 and 6 photos for each listing. That gives buyers enough detail to judge the item while keeping each listing clean and focused.
You can upload JPEG, PNG, HEIC, and WebP images. Use clear photos in one of those formats to avoid upload errors.
Yes. Each photo must be 10 MB or smaller. If an image is too large, resize it before uploading.
Yes. You can select a cover photo during the listing flow. That image becomes the main preview buyers see first on cards and listing pages.
You can have up to 2 active listings at a time right now. If you have already reached the limit, mark an item as sold or delete an older listing before creating a new one.
Yes. Go to your account, open the listing, and use the edit option to update the details. You can also replace the full image set if you need better photos.
You can mark a listing as sold from your account page. Once you do that, it is no longer shown with available listings on the homepage.
Yes. You can delete any of your own listings from your account page. Use that when an item is no longer available or you no longer want it shown on the platform.
No. There are no posting or payment fees in the current version. Buyers and sellers connect directly, and no checkout flow is built into the platform yet.
Buyers contact sellers directly using the phone number shown on the listing detail page after sign-in. There is no in-app messaging or payment step right now.
Deleting your account permanently removes your listings and their images. Use the delete account option in your account page only if you want all of your marketplace data removed.
